Twelfth Night Gift

Quiet night—delight!
Winter cold—so bold!
Mother sighs—baby cries;
On earth—another birth.

Bless, oh bless this sacred event!

Every child is born
to become the anonymous
and unknowing,
yet infinitely compassionate
savior of at least one other.

Celebrate, oh celebrate
the arrival of new presence!

Wæs hæil, little one;
wæs hæil and fare thee well
on thy holy journey!

  1. I wish I could write such a sweet poem like you.

  2. Thank you, Triond Experiment. Writing is a challenge, but I take heart in the fact that there is always something inspiring out there in the world. I always think of writing, and any kind of art, as an experiment in expressing--and I just keep on trying.

  3. I myself write but I do not publish them. I just keep them in my hard drive. Maybe one day I will publish them but not in the near future.

    I mostly write about my experiences in life so its a personal thing.
